What currency is your shop in?

All prices are in USD.

When will I get my product?

All purchases are sent as a download link via e-mail.  Sample pack & preset pack downloads should be sent immediately.  If you do not receive your link right away, check your spam filter to make sure it has not been sent there.  If you still don’t see your link please email our support mail at support@blackoctopus-sound.com with your order info and we will resend you the link.

Software licenses are typically sent within 24-48 hours of purchase.  If you do not receive your serial within this timeframe, please e-mail our support.

Where are my points?

Made a purchase & can’t find your points?  We allow guest checkout on our site, so if you have checked out as a guest your points have not been assigned to an account.  Don’t worry!  Just e-mail us with what you purchased and what your account e-mail is and we will make sure you get your points.

What can I use my points on?

By default, you can use your points on sample packs & presets to get up to 50% off your next purchase.  If you would like to use your points on software, please e-mail us and we will review on a case by case basis.  The reason for this is our profit margins are much smaller on the software, so it would be possible for us to lose money on these transactions.  We would still love to hear from you if you would like to use your points on software and will do our best to accommodate you.

If you have any other questions or are experiencing difficulties downloading your purchase please e-mail us at support@blackoctopus-sound.com and someone will get back to you shortly.  Satisfaction is guaranteed with all of our products, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your product please let us know and we will help you find a solution to your needs.

Can I release my sample pack with you?

We are also seeking experienced & talented sound designers. If you think you have what it takes to be a part of Black Octopus Sound please drop as a line at steve@blackoctopus-sound.com with some of your work!  We listen to every demo, but due to the amount of material we get we cannot respond to everyone.  If you sent your demo and you did not hear from us within a week do not worry, we turn down many good quality demos and only accept the top 1% of what we are sent.  We would encourage you to keep sending your demos to other distributors.

Can I get a refund on my software?

Unfortunately all software sales are final.  However if you are unsatisfied with your purchase please e-mail our support and we will try and find a solution to accommodate you.
