The Audeze LCD-X features a natural sound with flawless highs, mids and lows. Every detail of the music is reproduced clearly and can be located exactly in the room. The Audeze LCD-X plays everything across all frequencies exactly as it is on the recording. The LCD-X is therefore suitable for a relaxed but by no means boring listening experience, as it never tires you out with its natural lively sound, even after hours of listening. The LCD-X’s transducer has been specially designed to harmonize with a wide range of playback devices: it is suitable for use with the home stereo system or in the studio as well as with portable players. The volume is powerful enough even without a headphone amplifier. However, the LCD-X unfolds its full potential in combination with an adequate amplifier. The LCD-X’s ear cups are made of polished, anodized aluminum with beveled ear pads made of the finest lamb leather. They are padded with specially manufactured foam to provide the right amount of firmness and acoustic balance. The light airy steel and leather headband makes wearing the LCD-X comfortable even during long listening sessions. Included are a carrying case and an unbalanced headphone cable with 6.3 mm jack plug.
